When the weather turns cold & wintery, Martin and I love sneaking out for little mid-week coffee dates: we love getting bundled up in the coziest of sweaters, taking in all the bits of Christmas, ordering one too many cookies, reading the paper... and spending the afternoon people watching. And in my case, taking lots of photos. ;) It was the loveliest of afternoons with my love, and reminded me just how important it is to carve out time for one another. I can't wait to do it again!

What a cute post, these photos are wonderful! Nothing quite like coffee dates with a loved one!

Aww, I love coffee dates. I kind of wish I lived in/close to a more downtown-y setting though, since the only coffee places nearby are Starbucks and Dunkin' and I feel like those are just so busy and loud all the time that they take away from the moment.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos though! And thanks for visiting our blog :)

Aw, coffee dates are the best! I love chatting with my boyfriend over coffee. It seems like the best conversations happen that way.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos... There is nothing better than a coffee date with your partner or friends...

Adorable post! Side note - I love that you don't have your rings stuck together. I don't either, and people always ask me why and think it's weird. But I think the rings stay so pretty and delicate on their own, and you can wear just your wedding ring if you want. Anyway, just noticed that, and your rings are beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteLove it! :)
ReplyDeletewhat a darling little coffee shop, it's got a neighborhood vibe and sparkly deer was an immediate attention grabber!! with a certain sense of drama going on downtown while people hustle and bustle along the city streets i'd really enjoy time tucked away in a nook like this. looks so warm and cozy :) 100% yes to carving out that time together, sooooo importanto! glad you 2 (+ Scout!) got the goodness going on! happy new week V, thinking of you and hoping the holidays really seal the heal so your health maintains a solid stance. xo ♥
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely day you both had! so much cuteness is oozing out of all these pictures :)
