There's something so wonderful about capturing life's sweet little moments. I know one day we'll love looking back and reminiscing about afternoons spent by the ocean, village ice cream dates, and trips to our favourite sushi restaurant. This past week I've been feeling pretty nostalgic - ever since I sorted through our wedding photos, it's become shockingly obvious at how quickly 8 years can flash before your eyes. As a result, Martin & I have spent our last few evenings talking about our goals as a couple and where we'd like to be in five years. We both agree, between my health problems and our busy work schedules, we've been majorly lacking in the "fun" department. As for our main goals?... We'd like to work towards buying a bigger home, buckle down and start a family, pay off our car & debts, and (my favourite) get away on more trips. I have several planned for this spring/summer and I can't wait to share them with you! On that note, wishing you a lovely weekend, friends, and here are a few of my favourite bits from the past week or so...

    I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything works out superb for you. :) You well deserve it. Sounds very grown-up, but I guess for everyone comes the point in life to do these kind of things, not? ;-)

    This is so far in the future to me - but I hope when I'm at this stage in my life I'd be as mature as you two are, but still have fun ;)

    It's amazing how quickly time passes! My husband works for a band and is on the road half the year, and lately I've been thinking about how we need to take the time when he is home to really plan out the future before it completely slips by! Your wedding pictures are beautiful by the way. So sweet. :)

    True story... I just started an Instagram account today, so I can save up my everyday moments.
    I love that you are so close with your hubby. I think it's very sweet and important in the relationship.

    hey my lovely friend! i feel like a bunch of time has passed, but it's really just my whirlwind mind working at 10 times higher speed than it's used to that makes the world appear to spin so fast ;) finally plopping down in the chair for a "visit" here is just the remedy and fast fix i needed!!

    i always adore your insta-recaps. they're so sweet and personally charged with electrified goodness. ice cream dates, walks by the water and sushi bites sound like a well of wonderful to me!!! holla over to you about that and also....moving????? when? where? becaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaause, we just got confirmation today that we'll be moving too. um, hello Coquitlam - here we come! so excited V, we found a sweet townhouse to rent from the most darling couple. okay and now i've got the best hairstylist tip for you too cos she's a Suki's ex and is all kinds of wonderful. the area we'll be in is called Meadowbrook, do you know it? is it far from you? as soon as we're settled, late next month we HAVE to have you guys over. the best news of all is they are animal friendly so we have been approved to get a puppeh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i could die of happiness. i'd love to give you a ring this week to catch up - are you around any evening? so many questions, i'm sorta stoked, can you tell? miss you, see you SOON i just know it. xo ♥
