I purchased this super pretty dress earlier this summer from Madewell - it was actually my first purchase from them and I'm now officially addicted to that store. And I know you're nodding your head, Lynn... hehe, my fellow Madewell soul mate. I'm hoping to re-style the dress again once our late fall temperatures hit. Any suggestions?! I'd love to hear your ideas; how fun would it be to style it based on your feedback.
Other than that, I've been on a bit of a shopping binge as of late. I just bought new skin care from philosophy and earth science, as well as Moroccan oil (amazing!) along with bumble and bumble hair products. I also recently did a major closet over-haul and purchased a new basics wardrobe. And now, I'm eying some fun pieces from Ruche to spice up those basics. They have the prettiest things for fall right now. I'm certain I could just order the whole darn site. Haha, oh boy, it's tempting!!

You look absolutely stunning in these pictures. Such a beauty! xoxo (p.s. don't get me started on madewell!)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! :) I absolutely love that clutch!
ReplyDeleteWhy is there always so much pretty stuff available in the shops? It's been ridiculously difficult lately not to spend all my money on pretty autumn clothes. It's been freezing here lately too, I actually had to pull out my gloves this morning. Yuck.
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely, that dress is fantastic, and great for remixing, it'll look fantastic with tights xo
I love how you added that clutch for some extra pattern in the look- cute touch. And that dress is super pretty, and it looks like it would match with everything. I think if you paired it with maroon tights and brown boots it'd look super cozy and fallish
ReplyDeleteGreat dress!! I could see it paired with the ever-popular Oxblood color and that same leopard clutch!

ReplyDeletehey veronika, looking good, like you always do! am i gonna sound cliche when i say to fall the dress up add tights, boots, a long sleeve shirt underneath & a scarf on top?

That is the most gorgeous dress!
ReplyDeleteI would still this pretty dress with soft pink or mauve tights and add a black cardigan , and some laceup victorian boots. I would turn this into a dark romantic look. Very pretty for Fall.
ReplyDeleteThese photos are just so beautiful Veronika! Enjoy that weather while it lasts. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I have to check out Madewell now...that dress really is a pretty one - especially with those perfect wedges and the navy cardigan. Hmmm, another way to restyle it would be by layering a sweater over it and adding some tights. But I'm sure you've already thought of all that. ;)

You look gorgeous! I'm also a newbie to Madewell and I'm addicted. I think that dress would be great for the cooler weather with tights, booties, a scarf and a big, furry winter coat?

There aren't many things I really miss bout North America, but Madewell has definitely made the short list. I always want to buy the whole store, and definitely eyed up this dress in the summer. So pretty! And I love the way it looks in these golden photos, so glad Vancouver has had a lovely fall for once... Sad to hear the rain has started, but I know you'll look just as lovely with an umbrella ;) Smooches.

dude, did you get a load of what appeared outside today? ominous cloud cover and that darned rain's come back. boo urns! i'd way rather peep your pics any 'ol day :) you're constantly curating something special. i could totally see that dress with some plaid remix or a wooly navajo pattern-ish sweater plus red or other saturated color on your pretty lips! it'd be uber cute in a pumpkin patch with jeans (skinnies cuffed) underneath, fitted leather jacket, yummy scarf & gummy or combat-esque boots too.

That dress is so gorgeous! I totally agree with you- I certainly would wear Ruche's entire site as well (if only I had an endless spending amount!) haha! Actually, I think all of us could ;). I think you could wear a printed cardigan with colorful tights along with this dress! SO cute! I just recently purchased a bunch of basics as well, but I was mainly missing tops from my wardrobe more than anything! Every time I shop I always end up buying a cardigan, dress, or skirt of some sort lol. I'm trying to break free of that! ;)

I've been away from the blogging world for a while and I'm pleasantly surprised to see you with a slightly different style and hair. I looove the side swept bangs on you. You look way prettier with them since you can actually see more of your eyes and face. Also love the more"classic" looks now! I also hope you are feeling better. Ha, I feel like i'm commenting on such old news!
ReplyDeleteLooove the dress! Also, question -- is the blurriness in the background from your camera lens, or is it an effect on Photoshop? It's perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI love your dress! I always want to shop at Madewell but my wallet always wins on that subject. they have the prettiest clothes though!
ReplyDeleteyour hair looks cute with the side bangs. :)
