Last week, I couldn't get enough of bright & bold colours, and this week I'm on a total neutrals kick, but it's always nice to mix it up, right?! Actually, I've been warming up to the idea of experimenting with slightly simpler outfits as of late. This spring I'd love to wear more neutrals, play with textures and invest in some fantastic accessories. What about you guys... any looks you're excited to try?
And speaking of new things, I also spent a bit of last week shopping at one of my fave local boutiques. As a side note, it's walking distance from our condo & next too a fab vegan restaurant - score! I've been making an effort to add more quality staples to my closet, and really, is there anything better than the feel of luxurious fabrics? I think not. The rest of my day was spent picking up packages from the post office (yay!) and buying groceries for the week. Oh, the glamor! ;)
Alright friends, wishing you a super fabulous day. I'm off to deal with my ever growing inbox, make a delicious snack (starving!) and try to get a whole lot of work done today! Any fun plans for the weekend?! xo veronika
Outfit Details:
Cardigan - Covet (similar)
Dress - H&M
Leggings - Jacob (similar)
Beams Boots - c/o Blowfish
Grocery shopping is totally glam, didn't you know?! Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteYou look cute and those boots are great. I am also thinking as of late that I need to invest in some good basic/key items. I'm not sure my bank account agrees though:-(
I hope you had a delicious vegan meal, assuming you ate and just didn't shop;-)
Perfectly neutral! I love layering dresses - I can't wait to see how you wear it in the spring! Don't work too hard!

Hey, you make grocery shopping glam with your outfits!
ReplyDeleteHaha, adore the neutrals you're rocking. That's something I've tried too, but I just love my brights and prints too much. Especially with spring coming!
However, I agree with your longing for investing in good quality staples. I need to do that!
This weekend I'm planning on having my best friend spend the night and during the day we're going thrift shopping and taking blog photos together :) It'll be so much fun! Haha
Thanks for another dose of outfit inspiration <3

I like your town. Sounds a little like mine. Cute boutiques and vegan restaurants. Within walking distance from my house. I hate driving so I do not want to live in the outskirts.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend though, per my request, husband and I are heading out to the countryside by the mountains for some much needed relaxation time. It was our 6th wedding anniversary on Tuesday and my birthday is coming up on Sunday so it's also a celebration trip. But without the clubs and hangovers.
Happy Thursday! X
Love the Neutral Cardi on you and i love the dress and boots...change is always good! xx

I really like itty bitty skirts with tights you look smokin hot :)
ReplyDeleteOh Veronika, you know I am such a big fan of classic colours and styles... This outfit looks like it walked right out of my closet and I have to say, you pull of neutrals beautifully. As much as I love them, though, I've been feeling the exact opposite lately - this season, I am loving pastels. And the less they match, the better! If there's such a thing as fashion schizophrenia, I'm pretty sure I have it :) Hope you week is going well!

neutrally top-drawer deck out!!! nice and easy going with the addition of your cardy. i'm all about this kind of dressing but even so there's a part of me always gravitating towards color pops and the latest selections of bright candy or pastel sorbet jeans will have to be my next take home item. looking for a bright red pair and it seems i missed the mark cos now pink is all the rage. ah well, we'll see what can be dug up.
ReplyDeletesounds like you're really centrally located, nice to have those kinds of shops and restos within walking distance!! cheers to an inbox clear-out and some more relaxing over the next 2 days!!! xo ♥
