Look Book: Simple Days & Wardrobe Staples!

Do you guys have a go-to outfit?! This is definitely mine. Cardy's, cute little dresses and tights always seem to steal my heart. I just loaded up on so many tights last weekend: brown, rust, red, polka-dots, floral... oh boy, more than I care to admit! As for the rest of my day? It’s been incredibly gorgeous out. I spent most of it outside with the pooch, followed by a visit to my fave restaurant for soup! Ah, simple days always put a smile on my face!
Did I score at my last swap or what?! Have you noticed just how many swapped goodies I've been wearing & blabbing on about?! It’s such an awesome way to feature new looks without breaking the bank! And this lovely dress is no exception; it’s my first time wearing BB Dakota and I’m smitten. It’s the perfect dress for fall walks, or for late afternoon dates with the Mr.
As for this path?! Ah, love! I can’t wait to come back once the leaves are at the peak of their fall colour. I often walk along here with my groceries -so picturesque! Lately, I’ve been craving & making the yummiest of stews. I just made this one recently: White Bean & Spinach Soup, which I found on Jen’s blog of Jen Loves Kev -so delicious!! Did you guys know that I’m a foodie and love to cook? I seriously find it so relaxing!! Enjoy the upcoming weekend, friends. xo veronika

    I love the colour of these tights! I'm so nervous about experimenting with coloured tights though and just tend to stick with black :( this really inspires me to go on a tights shopping spree haha! :)

    girl and closet rules, it's the honest to gosh truth! i'm anticipating a world tour one day with a fanfare that would surely greet you by clothing themselves in coveted veronika styles like wonderful vintage (inspired or otherwise) floral dresses, JC shoes, bangin' tights and long, glossy hair with rocking bangs!!!

    yes to the go-to outfit thing, i've actually compiled a "little black book" with a few so i never suffer the whatever-do-i-wear-today blues ; ) i adore yours today, Louise's dress is a piece of art really and that path is the perfect framing to show it off. going tight shopping is on for me this weekend, been dying to get my hands on some new colors and patterns!!

    Mmm soup is my favorite fall meal, supper, lunch, anytime soo good! I love this outfit, the dress has such a wonderful pattern and amazing colours! My go to outfit is definitely a cute dress with a cardigan too. Theres so many ways to make that look unique :)

    I just mentioned in my post today that it is time to buy tights. Do you have a favorite brand? I am a bit tough on my tights, so I'm always looking for recommendations! :)

    I definitely have a go-to look, but it usually takes a much boyish approach than yours - a button down and boyfriend jeans! I love all the colors in this look - soft but still feel autumnal!

    Isn't Louise's dress an absolute gem? I borrowed it at the last swap just before the end of the summer and it was the perfect choice for a sunny day, but I think it's equally lovely in this fall ensemble. I love that you found a pair of tights that nearly coordinate with it but still seem easy and effortless, not matchy. Your go-to fall outfit is definitely a winner, you can really never go wrong with cute dresses and cardis... One of my fashion goals is to one day own a cardigan in every colour of the rainbow :) Hope you're having a lovely Thursday!
