Yay, it’s happy smiley me. Just the other day, hubs & I enjoyed a (rain-free!) stroll in our neighbourhood -ah, so pretty. Geez, I truly can't believe we are well into November, and that fall posts will be turning into winter and x-mas inspired posts. I'm so insanely excited to make this the best Christmas ever!! My last few have been so full of work & more work - but this year I'm thrilled to be my own boss (yay!) and I can’t wait to make it a super memorable and fun holiday! Hmm, yummy baking & cooking, here I come. :)
Aw, loved kicking leaves in this brightly coloured ensemble. I bought this dress just a few weeks ago from ASOS. It’s been such an awesome wardrobe staple; since it's short enough, I’ve also worn it with my skinnies & over-the-knee boots -totally adorable! And I almost reached for my favourite cardigan, but then opted for a denim jacket instead. Goodness, I have such a love of cardigans! I really can’t help myself; they are so comfy and super easy to just throw on - anyone else as obsessed with them as I am?!
Also, a BIG thank you to the lovely Moorea Seal for sending me this gorgeous booklet necklace -isn’t it the prettiest?! I’ve received so many compliments on it, and have been wearing it with so much! If you'd like to nab your own piece of jewelry from Moorea, then head on over here: "Moorea Seal Giveaway!!" One lucky reader will win an item of their choice -up to $50 in value. Yay! Enjoy your day, friends; what's everyone up to? I'm currently blasting my fave of the moment band, Handsome Furs, and sorting through my closet which is about to burst. xo veronika

your photos are always stunning! love the tights and the shoes. :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! Love how that outfit reminds me of the 80s - but in a modern, awesome way. And the brown tights are genius with this - it could totally be a spring outfit, but you've made it work for fall. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty dress! But what steals the show for me is that fantastic jacket!! A denim jacket with puffed sleeves? A dream come true. Sadly Ottawa doesn't have an H&M or I would seriously be heading out to hunt for a similar one.

I love that you are wearing such a spring-y dress in fall! The tights, booties and denim jacket make it a perfect transition!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can find some comfort in the fact that I have one cardigan, in 12 different colours. Now you know there's always someone worse than you, haha ^^ I LOVE your pretty dress, I can already imagine the possibilities! you could easily wear this number during spring and summer too! x
ReplyDeleteI love that your outfit is so brightly-coloured - much needed on these days when it's mostly dark outside. I usually associate floral prints with spring, but this dress works so well this time of year too!
ReplyDeleteI think your denim jacket is just as pretty. I have yet to find the right one for me though - it's probably because I'm so busy filling my closet with cardigans :P You're right, they are sooo comfortable that I can't get enough of them!!
Have a great day!

Since last summer I've had a thing for flowers on white background and this dress is just perfection. Might be my first purchase from Asos...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Oh Veronika, your denim jacket might be the cutest I've ever seen- the puff at the shoulders add such a sweet, feminine touch that makes it an even more perfect match for your floral dress. Hurray for being your own boss; I contemplate following in your footsteps more and more every day :) Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing weekend ahead, my dear.

I'm having a giveaway...
I'm such a sucker for cardigans. I often joke with my friends that I've already become old and grey. You'll soon find me wrapped up on the front porch in a rocker with my knitting and cardi on. Just this morning, I had to fight the impulse to wear one. I ended up going for a layered look instead using a linen shirt and a tank. Love how you've reached for the denim jacket. It's always great to shake things up for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThese pics (and poses) are darling! Love this look!

Love this outfit! I have tights that are very similar to the ones you're wearing, and I always have such a hard time finding the right outfit combo to pair them with, so I may be stealing some inspiration from you! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and I'm so jealous of all the foliage!
ReplyDeleteDid you get any snow on Friday? Seattle was hit with just under a centimeter and people were freaking out! I honestly didn't know snow was such a big deal over here (I'm originally from Toronto and never really freaked out about snow unless it was deeper than my ankles)!
A lovely combo of soft and rusty - you did such a good job with this outfit.

I really can't wait to be my own boss! I worked in aviation, fashion retail and now car rentals -- so the busiest time of the year is always the holidays! I haven't seen my family on Christmas in years. I'm grateful to have a job, though! ;) Well, that's my sob story for the day... ha! Love the funky tights with this dress, darlin :)
ReplyDeleteleaves, leaves EVERYWHERE! wow veronika, i can't believe the incredible runway you're standing on...it's such a miracle location shot stream. reminds me of one of those brownstone lined streets in New York and you are on the scene with the loveliest outfit sensation too!!!
ReplyDeletei adore the pink blooms with your burnt orange tights and the pale blue jacket - but man oh man.......booklet necklace is off the hook awesome! everything together is such a pretty lot of ultra modern whimsy.
