Lovely Afternoons & A Train Station

{SWEATER: THRIFTED, BELT: VINTAGE, SKIRT: MODCLOTH, TIGHTS: JOE FRESH, HEELS, H&M}

I was thrilled to go out for a late lunch because it meant: 1) Food 2) Getting dressed 3) Wearing my newly thrifted top. Need I say more? I picked up this adorable top on a recent thrifting expedition and it was love at first sight. I immediately fell in love with the ruffles, black buttons, and the price -$4 ...just too good to leave behind.

Hubs (Martin, in case your wondering) and I headed down to this adorable train museum (by our our house) to take some pre-lunch outfit pictures. I was so thrilled it wasn’t raining but it was still really cold. I could have handled a few layers of tights -no joke!

And a big unanimous "Yay!" you guys, because tomorrow is Friday. I’m off to do some much needed shopping. I’ve been eyeing some items at H&M, cardigans are also on the list, and so is the food fair. Yummy fries, here I come. Happy almost weekend everyone! xx veronika

    I have a similar blouse that I thrifted that I wore on my blog with a jumper so it had the impression of this, but I never thought of wearing it with a skirt. Great job :]]

    I would much rather be going to H&M with you tomorrow that coming to work, let me just say :P That said, I think I've probably exhausted most of my options in the H&M spring collection, since they seem to run out of my size very, very quickly! Hope you find some gems, though :) And by the way, what a fabulous location for a shoot! I evidently live in the wrong area... Aside from what might be called proximity to Gastown, there is nowhere remotely attractive for taking photos near us. Love your shoes and sweater- those ruffles are adorable!

    soooo, after my major faux pas about your photography site (embarrassment lasted for days!) i refreshed myself on it's winning nature. it was actually Sean who was asking, b/c i showed him all our pics of course and he was extremely impressed with your skills as a shooter. he dabbles in photography and has a keen interest. we had a good look around and rest assured i will never make that mistake again. oi vey!
