Sunshine, Wedges... And A Day Off!

{TOP & WEDGES: H&M, JEANS: AMERICAN EAGLE}

Hello friends! Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I spent mine enjoying some fabulous sunshine and spring weather. Finally! I also may have eaten one too many Easter chocolates -oops. And I forgot to do an outfit post late last week. I would like to blame that on my sugar coma.

I have also come to the conclusion that great weather and fashion blogging are SO much fun. Anyone else with me? I adore exploring places with my hubs, and getting some pictures -of course! We usually end up eating lunch on a fantastic outdoor patio or strolling down to the beach. I'm certain that rain, ducking under bridges and watching my hair frizz out, are less than palatable. Hehe, life!

As for the outfit? Oh my goodness, well being that it was my day off, I went super simple. But I gave my normal “jeans look” some added fun with red lipstick and some super cute wedges. Highlight of the day? Wiggling my sock-free toes in the sun! Happy Monday, my lovelies. xx veronika

    Agreed. It is amazing what some red lips and stripes can do for one's mood. I think I may have to try that as medicine for my sour mood this morning. But I'd need a very baggy striped shirt to camouflage my 12 Reeses eggs in my belly.

    It surprises me as I type this, but I actually exercised self-control on the Easter egg front this year... Not so much on the wine yesterday afternoon, perhaps, however ;) I must say, you make casual look so enviably chic in these photos. I'm not really a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but seeing you in these photos makes me want to try it out for a day or two! Especially loving this coral wedges- too cute and oh-so-much fun now that the weather is (occasionally) warm enough to actually wear them!

    I hadn't been in H&M in so long but today I browsed through and I did notice their cork wedges in different colours! Very cute! I'm always nervou about H&M shoes hurting my feet. I had a bad experience with a pair of their pumps that actually took chunks out of my feet. EW

    Stripes are my go-to. They are just always so fun and even if the outfit is casual, it still looks interesting.

    The gathered sleeves on that top are so cute! And of course I adore the pop of red lipstick.

    I totally have that shirt from H&M in red. :) I've been wearing jeans a little more often than usual as well. It feels good to just be a little casual now and then!

    I didn't eat ANY chocolates, can you believe it? I had one right when Easter candy hit the shelves and that was it. Pretty proud of myself!
