Sequin Tank & Coral Hues... Yay For Spring!

Apr 28, 2011

{TANK: OLD NAVY, SKIRT & SHOES: H&M}

Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a fantastic week. As for mine? I enjoyed a fabulously warm spring day (one of our firsts), and it was pretty amazing. I was smitten by the beautiful cherry blossoms and the warm ocean breeze. I was more than happy to leave the tights at home and bust out the florals. Yay!

Mixing these two patterns together was a first for me. I actually got the idea from the lovely Tieka of Selective Potential. I was surprised that I had never thought of it before, because I absolutely loved the look. If you haven't tried these two patterns together, please do... you will adore it and it's a guaranteed mood enhancer.

And in other news? I went to my second blogger meet up, which was such a blast. I love hanging out with those girls. I miss them already. If you are a Vancouver blogger and interested in meeting up with us, then email me, K? I'll be sure to post pictures from the meet up... oh so soon!!
Happy almost Friday everyone! xx veronika

 Broken any fashion rules, lately? Be sure to check out Elaine's challenge & join in on the fun!!

  1. Yeah! Love the mix-up! I find it hard to believe that you are a newbie...you mix like a PRO!!!! :)

    Oh, and look at you all summery in your skirt and bare legs (it is still too cold in Wisconsin to rock this look without being attacked by the goose-bump fairy :))

    Yea for the blogger meet-up...I am so excited for you girlies and so glad that you had a blast (and, dare I say, a half!)

  31. I have to tell you, Veronika, I always admire the way you look so joyful and natural in your photos. It really doesn't matter what you're wearing- although of course it doesn't hurt that you are a print-mixing master- because you are just so radiant on film! That said, I am still seriously loving those coral sandals and your skirt is pretty much to die for :) Hope you're having a lovely day (and so glad to know I'm not the only one leaving blog comments at 6am!)

  56. i think LL Cool J said it best: "doin' it and doin' it and doin' it well"! yes indeedy do! lovin' the mixtures and of course the t-strap alternate approach too. no wonder you always have this relaxed glow in all your shots, just get a look at that back drop. trees forever and the breezes blowing through them must be heavenly to breath in. it obvs does a girl (and closet) good!

    cheers to more tightless days ahead and maybe a sheer show of legs next time we all get together too. i predict a high kick shot or two in the bunch : )

    happy almost Friday to you lovely and can't wait till next time and to see the goodness you and the handsome one shot soon. xo ♥
