So just the other evening, Martin & I enjoyed the cutest date. I took a few photos and I’ll be sure to share them with you guys. We decided on a date night in and baked cookies together. So fun! Neither one of us has baked before and we’re trying to learn. We made gluten free, vegan + chocolate chip cookies. Mmmm, they were incredibly tasty! Any other vegans or non-wheat eaters out there?!
As for the outfit, it’s safe to say this is my new favourite. There’s something so perfectly classic about dressing in tones of cream, black & brown. And in order to give the outfit some pop, I went with a red lip. Loved how it all came together. Also, I just finished planning out the rest of my fall outfits today, and now I’m getting so excited to share them with you. Yay! I love being organized! ;)

I'm vegan but I do eat wheat. I dated a guy who had celiac's for a few years, so I definitely (tried to) master gluten-free, vegan baking. it's tough, but it sounds like one of the most useful hints is to use a kitchen scale for weighing out flours rather than measuring them in a cup.

ReplyDeleteYay for vegan & gluten-free baking! My husband is allergic to dairy & eggs, so all our baking is vegan. And now I'm in the process of being tested for gluten sensitivity or Celiac, so I've been pouring over gluten-free recipes. So just like "veganizing" my baking, I'm looking at gluten-free as a fun challenge for the kitchen...and hopefully the answer to feeling normal & healthy again! So take heart knowing there's another couple out there going thru lots of kitchen success and hilarious kitchen fails, as we figure out how to modify ingredients! Here's to gluten-free cookies and vegan ice cream!
