Taking my own photos (well, aside from my adventure posts) has turned into such a fun & creative weekly date. I'd love to start experimenting a little bit more. I'm hoping to find a few old + run down locations and head over during golden hour. I've also been dreaming up a little night shoot... we have a few historic city parts that I'd love to visit: they feature cobblestone streets, old brick buildings and European style courtyards + alleyways. Ah, I'm getting excited just thinking about it!
This beautiful dress was sent to me by the lovely folks from Jigsaw. The quality & fabric are both exquisite, and in fact the dress is currently on sale, even better! ;) It's so perfect for summer and I can imagine it looking just as pretty in the fall with a fantastic pea coat + tights. Other than that, my birthday is fast approaching (gulp). It feels like this year has flown by... I can't believe this was just a year ago: Scenes From, My Birthday. I wonder what Martin has in store for me this year - any other July babies out there?!

What an absolutely stunning dress, Veronika! I love that you paired it with a classic red lip - I just can't think of a better match for the eyelet detailling. I can't wait to see how you'll transition this piece into fall. Wow you make this dress look so lovely! It's actually a Kew.159 dress, Jigsaw's sister company in England which is closing down (I currently work for them). Customers really struggle with this dress actually because it come up so much looser than the slip inside. Looks lovely cinched in with a belt.
