I've really been into smoothies lately and I've been meaning to make this one and share it with you guys on the blog, forever! Mmmm, chocolate and peanut butter, is there anything better?! This concoction was seriously amazing... I even had to wrestle it out of Martin's hands to get a sip. ;) I especially love that this recipe is super healthy as well as sugar free. I'm all about indulging but I still want to stay healthy while doing it and this smoothie did just that. It gave me great energy + I really enjoyed adding the coco too - it's full of antioxidants and flavonoids. Yay, for guilt free treats!
You'll need:
- 1/2 cup vanilla soy milk
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coco (I use a premium dutch brand)
- 2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
- 1 frozen and sliced banana
- 1/4 cup greek yogart
Pop all your ingredients in a blender... blend & enjoy!! Let me know what you think... :)
The smoothie looks delicious! I love the fact that its sugar and diary free to. Definitely goig to try out the recipe!

Yum! I might have to make this yet this afternoon! Looks great. :-)
ReplyDeleteYum! Oh my gosh this sounds so yummy!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds soo good! I can't believe it's so healthy too! If you wanted to make it dairy free you'd have to switch the Greek yoghurt for soy, if you could find any hat was unflavoured, I never can though :(

Oooh, this is making me wish I had a blender - because if I did, I could put a slightly European spin on this and make a chocolate speculoos smoothie. Just the thought of it has me drooling! Definitely bookmarking this post for future use :)

I love peanut butter banana smoothies. Sometimes I add cocoa, other times I keep it plain. It's also really good with cardamom for something more exotic.
ReplyDeleteYes, love adding cardamom for a little twist. Mmmm, that's got me craving another one! ;)
DeleteI love putting a scoop of protein powder in my smoothies as well. Gotta try adding the greek yogurt. PS I have a Giveaway happening, I hope you’ll stop by to enter. Knock Your Socks Off Giveaway
