Yay, it's great to be back with an outfit post, it feels like it's been forever!! I'm hoping to be back in the swing of things by next week and posting regularly (fingers crossed). I've missed blogging my outfits so much, and I have lots of great ones to share with you guys... since I've been sick in bed, I've been doing lots of online shopping! Okay, on to the outfit, one of my favourite things is scouring our local thrift store for cute dresses and I was thrilled to have nabbed this one + it was five bucks, need I say more?!
In the warmer months, I really try to not overthink how I'm going to style a dress, and on this particular day it was freakin' hot. I do, however, like to add little touches to make my outfits feel more stylized... a great pair of shoes, a patterned bag and especially jewelry. And lately, I've been investing in lots of statement jewelry pieces - it's been doing wonders for my wardrobe.
Otherwise, Martin & I are still taking it really easy. I'm unfortunately still feeling pretty fatigued, so I'm taking lots of naps during the day and trying to keep my workload & social calender light. But for the most part, everything is starting to stabilize and now we're just waiting on news as to what's next + a diagnosis. But otherwise life is good! Happy Thursday, friends!! xo

5 bucks and fabulous is what! Veronika, you're unbelievably gorgeous and that dress reminds me of hazy summer days laying on a bed of dusty rose petal sprinkles. nice nod to vintage with respect to a few modernized aspects too. love that leopard clutch/purse. i've been scouting one similar out since i saw yours a while back but nothing as swell's turned up yet.

I hope you feel better soon! I love your outfit, though. I need to invest in some more jewelery. I generally just wear the same pieces over and over and over again - which is fun, but a bit monotonous. ;)
ReplyDelete$5?! I can not even believe that, it is so stunning and though it's thrifted, looks totally contemporary! You're so amazing with these types of finds. So glad you're feeling better, I sneakily read some of your older posts while at work recently and was worried about you - glad you've made a great recovery and are back, looking beautiful in yet another amazing outfit!
