It's funny how sometimes I feel a little sheepish posting my super casual looks, but nevertheless I'm forging forward & keeping it real! Here's what I wore just the other day for an afternoon of errands and neigbourhood loafing. What about you guys, do you like seeing and or showing more relaxed looks on your own blogs?!
I've been loving stripes on stripes! I'd also love to pair this tee with a bold vertical striped skirt - how cute would that be?! I recently developed a double pattern crush after seeing my blogging pal Tieka wearing two types of polka dots - such a fun & fabulous idea! On that note, hope your weekend is a great one, guys. Martin & I are off to Iona beach, and I'll be swapping clothes on Saturday with my fellow blogging lovelies!! xo

ReplyDeleteLove this! You relaxed look is even so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteLove your causal look and mix of patterns. This is more of how I dress daily.
ReplyDeleteWell first of all, if this is casual, I'm a hobo! But yes, I like showing my casual looks on my blog because it's real...it's what I really wear some days. It's also fun to show how to accessorize the more casual, relaxed days. I love this outfit, a striped shirt is my favorite weekend staple. You look gorgeous per usual!

Love the stripes on stripes..you look beautiful...i absolutely love the more casual look on you!!!
ReplyDeletethe outfit is pretty patriotic... perfect for this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI really like seeing more casual outfits on peoples blogs, I think it makes me feel more like bloggers are real people when they show something you could actually run around and live your life wearing. You still look absolutely lovely, obviously, but it is nice to know occasionally you have a bit of a lazy day as well xo
ReplyDeleteCute! I personally love stripes on stripes too.
ReplyDeleteGreat scarf and ballerina flats!

I like to see casual looks myself, mostly because that's how I dress frequently (I'm really a jeans wearer most days, though I try to mix it up with colored pants/dresses too). This is a great look, by the way.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, totally versatile and lovely look!

Such a cute casual look.
ReplyDeleteI seem to think the scarf dresses up the outfit a bit.
I love seeing more casual looks as well as the other stuff -- you look great!
ReplyDeletePlease show your casual looks. We all look great when we try for something or someone else. Real style is looking great running errands.
ReplyDeleteI know I always feel weird posting casual outfits as I'm thinking god every one is wearing this why should I put this on the blog. But I got to say you should definitely put your casual posts on.
ReplyDeleteI don't mind seeing more casual looks - I need inspiration for those, myself! I've been loving stripes and polka dots lately :)

Love casual styles, skinnies and flats? classic ;-)
ReplyDeleteI know I have some friends who really struggle to find the balance between "blog-worthy" outfits and casual jeans, sneakers and t-shirt outfits, so this is helpful. Also, it's a super cute outfit.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh man Tieka's polka on polka action in that post has been my all-time favorite outfit of hers!

Prsonaly, I LOVE the combo of both casual and dressy looks. Mainly because not all of us have to dress up everyday and we all (I would hope!) get days off to be casual. Love this striped tee and that scarf is perfect with it. Enjoy your weekend Veronika!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you shared a casual outfit--I love the added touches of the clutch and pretty scarf! I show off (probably too many) casual outfits--I'm a jeans-loving girl! Have a great weekend Veronika!
ReplyDeleteYES! I totally feel like that too. But I've noticed my readers don't mind so I stick to my own style :) I love how this outfit came together :) The scarf really makes it for me! x
ReplyDeleteI love seeing relaxed looks. In some ways, it's more relatable! And of course, you can never go wrong with a striped shirt. Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend!

I love those jeans! And that scarf is so perfect over that top! XOXO, www.NatalyasCloset.com
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel, sometimes it feels like since you have a fashion blog you have to post "OMG AMAZING" kind of outfits all the time. But I like the realness you show to us. This is still a cute outfit, and it's totally realistic!
ReplyDeleteHaha, great subtle print mixing you've done :)

I love when bloggers post casual outfits. The super-girly ones are nice too but the everyday look is much more real. You look just as nice here as you do in a dress :)

ReplyDeleteI just love this–it's just the sort of thing I'd wear to the office, minus the fabulous prints!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing casual outfits as well as dressier ones. Its not like casual outfits can't be fashionable! I love everything about this outfit - the stripes, the cardigan, the colored flats - all super awesome!
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect casual outfit! I actually love seeing bloggers post their casual outfits - I think looking chic while being comfy & casual is a true testament of style! You look adorable here, I love the double stripes, and those jeans are perfect on you!
ReplyDeleteI know just what you mean, Veronika! I have mixed feelings about posting my more casual ensembles, particularly after building a following of readers while "living glamourously." But the reality is, sometimes jeans and a cute tee are exactly what we bloggers are wearing... so why not show it off? Especially when it's so cute! I'm just loving your striped tee and scarf combo :) Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

I feel similarly sheepish when posting really casual looks sometimes, but on the whole I think it's important to show readers each different dimension of your style. And your casual errand look is far from plain - I really adore the clashing prints! :)

I think you're doing pretty well if this is your casual errand-running outfit - still looks amazing! I think it's important to show your personal style in whatever situation, so that you're not just dressing for the blog. I just post whatever I was wearing that day :)

ReplyDeleteso how BIG a YESSSSSS can i leave in this little box? i love when girls post their casual, everyday looks. thing is, its gotta come from someone who's got a knack for making the ordinary extraordinary and that is you in droves!!!
ReplyDeletei saved this to my insp folder immediately and can kinda, sorta try to emulate it. i'm gonna give it a good go anyways and Veronika, i think i've already mentioned in person but that leopard clutch is a beloved thing. really adds a sophisticated, downtown spin to this look.
hope the clothes swap was wonderful, i was sorry to miss it but can't wait to gaze at all the rad looks you girls put together. Iona Beach? never been, thanks for the idea though, i'm sure you and Martin made it a day to remember. xo ♥
