Maxi dresses & knotted cardigans have become my new "warm weather" go-to, and for this spring I'm excited to add a few more relaxed pieces to my wardrobe such as: maxi skirts, loose open stitch sweaters, a cropped denim jacket, and a ridiculous amount of flat strappy sandals. What about you guys? Any spring/summer pieces you're excited for?!
This weekend, we'll be heading into the city to celebrate Martin's birthday. We're off to one of his favourite restaurants, and being the food dork that I am, I've already scoured their online menu and decided on a mushroom/hazelnut ravioli dish as well as their infamous lychee fruit martini. Yum! Lastly, if you'd like to wish Martin a Happy Birthday (I know he'd love it), just head on over to his twitter page!! xo veronika

i have a few maxi skirts that i love, cotton candy pink, fuschia, and cobalt. i also really enjoy loose, comfortable, tomboy chinos in the warm months, especially with a simple white tee or a more structure silk blouse. very parisian and effortless.

What a gorgeous dress, Veronika! At my height I find maxis hard to wear - not because they make me look short, but because I trip over the hems...! That means that love seeing them worn beautifully on other people even more. And the unique pattern on yours is so lovely, particularly coupled with your knotted cardigan. Wishing Martin a happy birthday. Enjoy your night out in the city, it sounds like it's going to be delicious :)

ReplyDeleteYour hair looks absolutely gorgeous in these photos! And I love the print on that dress! Usually prints on maxi dresses seem to fall in... awkward places... but I love how even the print is on yours.
