Look Book: Bold Colours & Waiting For Cherry Blossoms!!

The cherry blossoms have started to bloom in our neighbourhood (yippee!) and I can't wait to take some photos. Really, is there anything prettier than trees exploding in pink?! It's one of my favourite things about the spring season and I love being able to document it. Unfortunately, when we took these photos, it started to drizzle, so off we went to our favourite covered location and took a couple quick snaps before meeting up with our friends for a fabulous dinner party. Yay food! Oh my goodness, it was a feast!! 
This week (exciting!) I had the chance to wrap & ship a few "Oh, Poppy!" orders. I just bought the cutest packaging for it: little craft paper envelopes, red glitter heart seals, and chocolate brown & light blue polka dot ribbon. Fun! On another note, are you guys super excited for Easter long weekend?! Martin & I are off for four days. We'll be attending Easter service on Sunday, spending lots of time outdoors with our doggy, and then buckling down to finish our taxes on Monday.
As for the outfit?! This dress has become a fast favorite in my closet, along with the colour green. Lately, I'm really drawn to bold colours - love 'em! For spring, I'm looking to experiment with some new colour pairings such as: aqua/orange, lime green/pale pink or even something slightly more classic like navy paired with a pop of yellow.     Yay for Spring colours, it looks like it's YOU that's blooming!! I expect it will be still be a good 2 weeks before trees blossom here but I look forward to Easter, tulips and making fajitas (spending the week-end with my Mexican family, yee haw!!).
