It feels so great to be starting a new week! Last week was absolutely crazy busy... I basically worked way too many hours -oops. So when Saturday hit, I couldn’t wait to throw together a cute outfit & soak in some weekend fun. Saturday morning we headed down to the pier, and after a sweet walk, we enjoyed the most scenic sunset drive to see our dear friends, Clint & Erin - absolutely stunning!
Guys, I’ve gotta admit, I was in a bit of a fashion slump last week. Ug, don’t you hate when that happens?! But this was an outfit I was really excited about. Cute. Girly. Relaxed. Yay! I’ve also started wearing jeans a lot more this season. Love them, especially when paired with boots & adorable knee socks or leg warmers. And speaking of jeans?! I'm eying this raspberry hued pair from ASOS for spring... super cute!
Also I’m excited to share that I just joined the world of Tumblr. I started a little “Oh, Poppy!” page. I’ll be posting about my jewelry making adventures along with bits of daily inspiration. Not the dreaded fashion slump! I go through one about once a month with my work wardrobe... I have enough clothes to wear a different outfit every day for months, but being constrained by a corporate dress code really limits me and doesn't allow me to dress in an inspired way. As a former corporate girl, I'm sure you understand :) Glad to hear you've back out of the rut, and what better way to get there than with plaid and jeans? I've been wearing a lot of denim afetr my year without it and I have to say, I am loving it.
