Weekend Strolls & Gingham Dresses...

Hello, lovely readers. Hope you guys had a great weekend! Mine was pretty busy and action packed, which is not my usual pace. My normal weekend itinerary involves pretending to be awake while hubs and I watch a movie... for real! But I found myself at Vancouver Fashion Week on Saturday, followed by dinner & cocktails with a few of my besties. I'm so thrilled that I went; we had such a fantastic time!! I'll be posting pictures later this week so stay tuned.

My other accomplishments included? Getting dressed! Hubs and I went for a stroll and I decided to break out my new retro inspired dress. I’m smitten by the gingham print and adorable button detail on the collar; it’s so perfect for spring. I found the dress a wee bit short but nothing a cute pair of tights can't fix!! And in other gingham news? I'm also lusting after a pair of [yup, you guessed it] gingham shorts!! Let the hunt begin... xx veronika

    I love how natural and whimsical you always look in your photos- there is no posing at Girl and Closet, which is wonderful. (Honestly, you could/should do a tutorial, some of us could certainly learn from you :D). Loving your gingham mini, especially the cowl neck- I'm a sucker for an interesting neckline.     Another great find from Dynamite (I'm forever searching there for new items but no luck)!
    I have to say, I agree with the sentiment that the dress really seems made for you. The fit is just gorgeous on you.
    I also have to agree with the point Cee made above, is that in all you photos you just look so natural and relaxed, having the time of your life! Your bright personality seems to radiate right through! You should give a tutorial (hee).

    Gorgeous dress! I've noticed with myself that whenever I wear something vintage inspired (or actual vintage) it always puts me in the best mood. Maybe it's because those styles are just so much fun to wear :)
