Casual Eats & Stripey Treats

 {CARDIGAN: KERSH, TANK: TRINITY, JEGGINGS: CITIZEN OF HUMANITY, BELT: THRIFTED, NECKLACE: ETSY, BOOTIES: JOE FRESH}

A casual evening out, calls for: (one part) vegy burger with a side of salad. Oh don't worry you guys, I am NOT that healthy -I always steal fries from the hubs! And (two parts): stripey cardy, jeggings, and woven leather belt! AND my ultimate pièce de résistance, Joe Fresh booties.

A few dinner disclaimers:
- I will drink your wine, then suggest you're drinking way too fast
- I will be in the bathroom when the cheque comes
- I will order a healthy meal, but devour your fries and pizza
- I will curl my napkin into a million tiny balls and then flick them at you...

However, don’t be alarmed! I am in fact lovely to have dinner with; these (above mentioned) “privileges” are only for my dear husband! OK, back to my Joe Fresh booties. Confession? I can’t stop wearing them! I am on a re-mixing rampage with these puppies. They seem to make all of my outfits... cuter! Mark your calendars, my lovely readers, for a “Girl and Closet” booties intervention, coming to a town near you. I will be sending out your invites shortly. xx veronika

    This outfit is loves especially the Joe Fresh booties! I just bought black jeggings Monday, so I am in need of style inspiration. You sound just like me when I go out to dinner most notable the stealing of the other person's meal party - I do that all of the time to my boyfriend. He's gotten to the point where he will order something I like because he knows I'm going to be eating half of it :)

    This outfit is causal and fun; I love it! Stripes and cardigans are what I live in, and so that means I have a lot of striped cardigans! I love it paired with the braided belt.

    Great necklace and ohmigod, I do the same thing with wine and bathroom check escapes...which do not end well since I usually eat in large groups of meticulous, check-dividing, and not so heavily drinking people :)
