Look Book: ModCloth’s Spread The Cheer Event!!

Merry (almost!) Christmas, everyone! I couldn’t be more thrilled to be participating in ModCloth's "Spread The Cheer" event today. Ah, what a super fun day! If you aren't familiar with it, just earlier this month, ModCloth reached out to five bloggers to choose the perfect holiday dress for one of their favourite bloggers, and the lovely Tieka of Selective Potential picked this gorgeous dress for me to receive. I’m so in love with it! Tieka, if you’re reading this, feel free to pick out all of my clothes!! ;)
I had way too much fun styling up the "Roses for Every Occasion Dress." I decided to go for a double rose print look and I love the final result. I also couldn’t resist throwing in my beloved bowler hat & a cozy cable knit cardy. For this post, I opted for a more evening/going out look, but I’d also feel super confident re-styling this pretty dress for a Christmas lunch or family dinner... I would choose a neutral hued trench & cable knit tights, platforms and a cute scarf! I absolutely love wearing red over the holidays!

    This is incredible Veronika!     so the BIG tribute saying from Moulin Rouge - Spectacular, Spectacular applies here most definitely! Veronika, i am diving further and further into bliss about this loveliest of outfits. so very xmas friendly and SO VERY adorable on you!! adding a top hat can make all the difference and completes this treasure trove of variety a big bunch.

    What a stunning dress Tieka chose for you! The red roses are so lovely and intricate, and the texture looks absolutely breathtaking captured on film (or DSLR, I guess.) The bowler hat works so well with it, too - I would never have thought a dress like this could possibly work for every day, but you've made it happen and it's all about that hat.
